Dog Mom's Kit

Dogs don't care about your floor plan — they care about traction. Standard microcement, tile, and polished concrete all turn slick the second a paw is even slightly damp, which is exactly when a dog is sprinting through the house. The Dog Mom's Kit uses a textured aggregate blended into the topcoat, giving the surface real grip underfoot without turning it into a rubber mat or looking like a garage floor. It's applied the same way as our standard microcement systems — thin, seamless, jointless — so you're not choosing between "looks nice" and "my dog won't slide into the wall."

Questions

Will this scratch from claws over time?

The sealed topcoat resists everyday claw traffic. Like any floor, deep gouges from something sharp aren't covered by normal wear.

Can I use it in a space my dog already has accidents in?

Yes — the sealed surface is non-porous, unlike grout or unsealed tile.

Does it need professional installation?

It's DIY-friendly for a confident finisher. For large runs or complex substrates, we recommend our install guide or a Luxcement crew — quoted separately.
